The Details
Weekdays — the assessment
- Is it safe to be on the roads?
- Is Forum’s parking lot safe?
- Is it safe to access the church building?
- Is it financially reasonable to make the conditions on our property safe?
Weekdays — ministry leader discretion
- If activities are held as planned, a ministry leader may still cancel their own activity — by 1pm or at least 2 hours before the event, whichever is earlier.
- A leader who cancels when cancellation isn’t required should notify staff, so we can answer when others ask and run the communication steps above.
Example: daytime activities are on, but CPS has canceled school — Women’s Ministry may cancel MOMs group due to childcare availability.
